Will you show your support and help out by placing a collection pot in your local pub, shop, bakery, or chippy?*

How do I get involved?

It's simple.

If you’re interested in helping us, we will send you a collection pot and a letter of authorisation to show the shop owner that you are supporting the National Kidney Federation. We’ll also include a poster to display alongside the collection pot.

When the pot is nearly full, we ask that you empty it and transfer the money to our bank via bank transfer. We will keep a record of the money raised and provide a certificate of appreciation for you to give to the shop owner.

You could make a significant difference. Please email [email protected] if you would like to get involved.

Why should I get involved?

There are currently 3.5 million people in the UK that have chronic kidney disease (stages 3 to 5), the NKF is a lifeline of support for both patients and their families. The funds you collect will go on to:

🫘Support the estimated 3.5 million kidney patients in the UK and their families with free guidance and emotional support through our experienced helpline advisers.
🤝Continue to provide our National Home Dialysis Peer Support Service, helping patients make informed decisions about home dialysis.
🗒Enable us to provide information leaflets to patients and families.
📣Campaign and lobby for improved treatment and healthcare provisions with the NHS and Government, including pushing for policy changes and increased funding.
Your support can help us continue our mission and make a real impact on the lives of kidney patients and their families - so let's go potty for kidney disease and start spreading awareness today!

* Not limited to these locations, should you wish to suggest a different location please let us know - we'd love to have you get involved.
